Future work Item: ImageFactoryFork.wsf

Add in the ImageFactoryFork.wsf tool (already written).

This tool will, at a pre-designated time in the Task sequence, shutdown the Virtual Machine so the Hyper-V host can Snapshot/Checkpoint the virual machine and start again, the script can then ask the host for updated parameters to continue.

This script is ideal if you need to build several variations of the same OS. The process to update Windows 7 to the latest patches is quite expensive, however if we just need to create several WIM files of WIndows 7 containing slightly different Applications, this tool can sit between ZTIWindowsUpdate and the app installs.
